Merrisa and Martin

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Merrisa and Martin on Saturday. The weather couldn't have been better and the backdrop of Duff House in Banff made for a perfect setting. Merrisa and Martin travelled up from Glasgow for their special day (although Martin is from Aberdeenshire originally), and it was great to see so many friends and family members sharing their joy. Congratulations, you two...what a beautiful wedding ;-) xx

Daryl and Fiona

Daryl and Fiona got married just as the sun was setting in Clearwater, Florida on 9th September 2009 in front of a small group of family and friends. Unfortunately, I didn't quite make it to the US of A for the wedding, but I was invited to the homecoming party in Aberdeen's Copthorne Hotel on Saturday :-) Congratulations Mr & Mrs Leslie!!

Barry & Jackie

Barry proposed to Jackie a few weeks ago whilst strolling round Fyvie Castle much to her delight and surprise:-) They're planning a long engagement - with the date set for 2012, but I know it'll be all the more special for the wait. Thanks to Jackie's friend Stacey for booking the couple this shoot as an engagement present!

Robyn & Barry

I had fun with Robyn and Barry last week at Balmedie Beach....in spite of the rain and cold! We got on really well with much laughter along the way. I'm shooting their wedding next June and it promises to be such a great day. I can't wait :-)

Richard and Mary

It seems like ages since Richard and Mary booked me to do their wedding...and then all of a sudden it was here! We had the perfect day, weather-wise too, and as well as being keen photographers usually themselves, Richard and Mary were perfect MODELS during their special day. From the preparations in the morning to the magician at night, a great fun was had by all. Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Daniel!!

Amy Irvine, a Christening :-)

Amy Rose Irvine was born on 10th May 2009, and celebrated her Christening with family and friends last Sunday. Her cousins Callan, Mason, Ede, Cody and Ryan joined in the fun along with grandparents and even great grandparents. What a loved wee girl! :-)

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Forbes!!

I had the pleasure of photographing Sheila and James Forbes and their lovely family today. Mr & Mrs Forbes recently celebrated their 55 wedding anniversary - congratulations - and a family photoshoot was booked to mark the occasion. (Great Grandson Findlay stole the show, though!! :-) xx

Baby Erin

Clair is a fabulous make-up artist (www.clairkeith.co.uk) and I've worked with her on some of my DND shoots. I was delighted when she asked me to take photos of her new baby, Erin Lauren. Dad Arran, a pretty good photographer himself, even managed to catch me at work. Not many people do that - thanks, Arran :-)

Erin, 8lbs 13 oz at birth, was exactly two weeks old in these photographs. She is absolutely beautiful!!

Aaron and Ethan

Aaron and Ethan Mitchell joined me last weekend for a shoot in the rain!! They have a great area just beside their house and just wish it'd been warmer so we could've explored!! We also went down to the beach beside the golf course in Peterhead...sorry for the mess, Debbie! xx
